Earnings season on the timelines of your cities: when the largest US companies report their quarterly results, and when US options and index futures expire, at your local time.
The calendar follows the 20 largest US-listed companies, from Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon and Meta to JPMorgan Chase, Eli Lilly, Walmart and Netflix. Most of them report either before the stock market opens at 9:30 am New York time or after it closes at 4:00 pm, so each report sits at the open or the close; a report with no announced session takes the whole day. Report dates come from Finnhub and are estimates until the company confirms them, usually a few weeks ahead.
Options expire on the third Friday of every month at the close. In March, June, September and December stock index futures expire the same day, known as triple witching, and the S&P 500 quarterly rebalance takes effect after the close. When the third Friday is an exchange holiday, as for Juneteenth in June 2027, the expiration moves to the Thursday before.

Most large US companies report either before the market opens at 9:30 am New York time or after it closes at 4:00 pm, and hold a conference call soon after. The timeline puts each report at the open or the close, at your local time; the card says which.
Companies usually announce the date two to four weeks ahead. Dates further out are estimates from Finnhub based on the previous quarters, and the calendar updates as companies confirm them.
The third Friday of March, June, September and December, when stock options, stock index options and stock index futures all expire on the same day. The S&P 500 quarterly rebalance takes effect after the close, so trading volume is often one of the highest of the quarter.
On 18 December 2026, then on 19 March, 17 June, 17 September and 17 December 2027. In June 2027 it moves to Thursday the 17th because the exchanges close on Friday 18 June for Juneteenth.
On the third Friday of every month, or the trading day before when that Friday is an exchange holiday. Stock options stop trading at the 4:00 pm New York close; standard SPX index options settle at the opening prices that morning.
