When coast radio stations around the Mediterranean and the Black Sea broadcast weather forecasts, gale warnings and maritime safety information on medium frequency (MF), on the timelines of your cities and in your own time zone.
The calendar covers the busiest sailing waters in Europe. CROSS La Garde near Toulon broadcasts for the Gulf of Lion, the Côte d’Azur and Corsica in French and English. Spanish coast radio covers the Balearics and the Spanish coast from Palma, Valencia, Cabo la Nao and Cabo de Gata, mostly in Spanish. Olimpia Radio broadcasts for the Aegean and the Ionian Sea in English from Limnos, Corfu and Rhodes, and Varna Radio covers the Bulgarian Black Sea coast. Each broadcast is a short block: forecasts for coastal and offshore areas, gale warnings and navigational warnings.
The calendar spans two time zones, Central European in Spain and France and Eastern European in Greece and Bulgaria, while the stations publish their times in UTC. This calendar follows the EiBi schedule and places each broadcast at its local time in each of your cities, so you know when to listen in Palma, Athens or wherever you are anchored.
