Scandinavian Coast Radio Weather Broadcast Times

When coast radio stations in Scandinavia and Iceland broadcast weather forecasts, gale warnings and maritime safety information on medium frequency (MF), on the timelines of your cities and in your own time zone.

The calendar covers the North Sea, the Skagerrak and Kattegat, the Baltic, the Norwegian Sea and the Arctic. Lyngby Radio broadcasts for Danish waters from Blåvand, Skagen and Rønne; Stockholm Radio for the Baltic; Telenor Kystradio from a chain of transmitters along the whole Norwegian coast, from Rogaland to Hammerfest and Berlevåg; Reykjavik Radio from stations around Iceland; and Bjørnøya Radio from Bear Island, between Norway and Svalbard. Most broadcasts are in English, with Danish, Swedish and Norwegian bulletins for local mariners.

Broadcast times are published in UTC, while Scandinavia changes its clocks twice a year and Iceland stays on UTC all year. This calendar follows the EiBi schedule and places each broadcast at its local time in each of your cities, from Copenhagen to Tromsø to Reykjavik.
