The shortwave schedule of Radio Prague International, the international service of Czech Radio, on the timelines of your cities: every broadcast with its language, frequencies, target area and transmitter site, shown in your own time zone instead of UTC.
After closing its own shortwave transmitters, Radio Prague kept a presence on shortwave through relay stations. Each night (UTC) it broadcasts half-hour programs for North and Latin America: four in English, three in French, two in Spanish and one in German — in the evening for listeners in the Americas. A Russian program for Eastern Europe goes out twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The American programs are relayed from Okeechobee in Florida and the Russian ones from the United Arab Emirates, each on a single frequency. Because the relays air short slots between other stations, it is easy to miss them: the timeline puts each one at its local time in your cities. The schedule is published in UTC and changes at the end of March and the end of October, while the Czech Republic and the US change their own clocks on different dates. This calendar follows the current season of the EiBi shortwave schedule.
