The shortwave and medium wave schedule of Trans World Radio (TWR), a Christian international broadcaster, on the timelines of your cities: every broadcast with its language, frequencies, target area and transmitter site, shown in your own time zone instead of UTC.
TWR has one of the most varied schedules on the air, in about 100 languages. Most programs are short — often fifteen minutes — and many air on one or two days a week. In the South Asian afternoon (UTC) a rapid sequence covers Hindi, Urdu and dozens of other languages of India, Pakistan and Bhutan; in the African evening the transmitters in Benin and Eswatini carry Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo, Fon, Bambara, Twi, Lingala, Zulu, Shona and many more. Mandarin, Korean, Mongolian, the languages of Central Asia and Ethiopia, Portuguese for Angola and Mozambique and Spanish for Cuba complete the picture.
With so many short weekly slots, a table in UTC is hard to use; on the timeline each program appears on its own day at its local time in each of your cities. TWR publishes the schedule in UTC and changes frequencies at the end of March and the end of October. This calendar follows the current season of the EiBi shortwave schedule.
